derStandard1 meldet, dass das bisher unbekannte Winterquartier des Waldtrapp2 (Geronticus eremita), vermutlich in Äthiopien entdeckt wurde. Vier Vögel wurden nach dieser Meldung im äthiopischen Hochland entdeckt. Nach der Seite der Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB)3, die auch eine interaktive Karte mit Flugroute der Vögel bietet, handelt es sich um Vögel aus der nordsyrischen Population (siehe auch Ä-Blatt-Meldung 750)4. | |
