Neue Informationen zur Identität der Mumie aus KV 55 ?

Im Juni 2016 berichtete das Ä-Blatt über den Fund einer Kiste mit Goldfolien im Ägyptischen Museum in Cairo. Siehe dazu auch :
" Experts to solve mystery of ancient sarcophagus from gold flakes found in Egyptian Museum " (Mada Masr - 16.06.2016).

In der aktuellen Ausgabe von "Al-Ahram Weekley" (Issue 1344, 11.-17.05.2017) findet man u.a. diesen Artikel :

" Opening A Golden Box "

von Nevine El-Aref, den ich als eine Art "Zwischenbericht" (?) zur Aufarbeitung des Fundes aus 2015 interpretieren würde. Besonders bemerkenswert erscheint mir die Aussage von Hassan Selim (Professor für Ägyptologie an der Ain Shams University in Cairo) :

Selim said that the foil that belongs to Akhenaten was not from his sarcophagus, but it could once have been used to decorate the wrapping of his mummy. “From the shape and size of the foil it is almost impossible that it could have belonged to the sarcophagus,” Selim said, explaining that further study could confirm his suggestion. ...
