Hallo, Weni, Gardiner, Egyptian Grammar, § 378 "Omission of the resumptive pronoun" Zitat:
The name of a reigning Pharaoh is often accompanied by the Phrase di anx, f. dit anx. This must be considered as a shortening of rdy n=f anx ' to whom life is given' or perhaps rather of rdy anx=f 'given that he live'. English can similarly shorten to 'given life' its equivalent of the Egyptian phrase. |

Ähnlich äußert sich auch James P. Allen, Middle Egyptian, 2000, § 23.15 "Special features of the passive participles": Zitat:
The Expression dj anx is probably a short form of dj n=f anx "to whom life has been given" with the dative n=f omitted. |
