Hallo zusammen !
Gerade eben erhielt ich eine Mail aus " Down-Under ". Eine Freundin berichtet über eine neue DVD aus dem Hause National Geographic :
I have just watched a new DVD " Nefertiti and the Lost Dynasty " ( National Geographic ) .
After CAT scans, Zahi Hawass declares that the skeleton in KV 55 is AKHENATEN. Age range now given as 20-40 years, therefore within the age range for it to be him.
Diesen Auftritt nebst Erklärung des SCA - Chefs gab es wohl auch hier in Europa schon im TV zu besichtigen, nicht wirklich neu.
Ebenfalls nicht neu :
The skeleton, when found, did indeed have gold bands with a name in cartouche. The bands were sent to the Cairo Museum, and stolen before further authentification would be done.
Aber diese Aussagen :
Arthur Weigall was present at the opening of the coffin and in all his written accounts declares that he read the name as Akhenaten, yet this identity has been denied over the years.
Maspero 1910 also confirmed : " When we came to examine the mosaic coffin and the sheets of gold in which the mummy was wrapped, we found that their legends asserted the mummy to be no other than Khuniatonu himself. ".
