Hallo, Zitat:
So schreibt William J. Murnane, Ancient Egyptian Coregencies, Chicago, 19772, S. 37-38: Zitat:
The eleventh regnal year is attested on a stela from Sinai, but the person by whom it appears to be dated is Hatshepsut's daughter, the God's Wife Nefrure. This unusual representation has prompted speculation that at this time a campaign had been set afoot to secure for Nefrure the same independent royal status that Hatshepsut herself enjoyed at her nephew's expense. On the stela Nefrure appears offering to Hathor, commonly a royal prerogative, and the epithets that accompany her ("living forever" and "stability and dominion like RE") are similarly regal in tone, which details support the assumed connection of the regnal date in the lunette with the figure depicted below. This attempt (if such it was) did not, however, ultimately diminish Tuthmosis III's authority, probably because Nefrure died before her position could become more of a threat. |

Ähnlich verwundert äußert sich A. Spalinger, Drama in History: Exemples from Mid Dynasty XVIII, in: SAK, Bd. 24, S. 269-300 (1997): Zitat:
By year 11 one meets the surprising Sinai Stela (JdE 38546) that presents the queen, her majordomo Senenmut, and princess Neferrure, who is now god's wife and under whom the date is inscribed. That it to say, the regnal year is not connected to Hatshepsut herself. (S. 275) |
