Tut´s Pektoral scheint nicht nur hier diskutiert zu werden:

I am sorry, but only now I have seen this discussion about the Scarab of Silica glass (technically "Libyan
Desert [Silica]Glass" or "LDG" ["LDSG"]: "molten glass" is entirely a incorrect term!)material (or, if you prefer,
"gem") employed in the Sun/Moon Tutankhamen Pectoral.

I am personally involved, from about 15 years (!), in this very long and difficult LDG research and with my
friends (above all with V. de Michele, scientific director of this research, who make the Tut's Scarab
examination in Cairo Museum). But we are far off to solve all the LDG (astro)problems!

Unfortunately, I don't know the cited Wickramasinghe's article (and even I don't know any other contributions
of this author about the LDG), but I want to make some explanations in this (difficult) matter.

1) About Lundberg comunication:

a)Absolutely any crater is still found in the LDG area, moreover an conjectural "asteroid impact" in that area is
entirely not compatible with the geomorphological data from the LDG area!
b)The A/Es cannot reach in the N.K. (but may be in the O.K.!) the LDG area, simply because at that time
there are no intermediary water point in the Western Desert from Dakhla to Gilf Kebir to make this travel with
asses.
c) "contorted positions" and "skies were dark": absurd statements!

2) About Degreef comunication:

a) LDG is not a tektite, but a impactite.
b) Nobody have found any aerodynamic evidence about pretence "thrown into space" of LDG material.

3) About Vanderzwet com.:

Absolutely not! If "molden glass" is synonymous of LDG (almost I believe so!), there are any possible relations
with "fulgurites", or vitrified sand pipes created by lighting.

4) About Kathrina com.:

If it is "scientifically true" that the formation of the LDG (or better, the "glass molding event") is dated about
28.5 My ago, the "terrestrial date" is not necessarly the same date of the LDG creation (or "molding event")!

5)Generally speaking:

a) I am sure that Tutankhamen, and his priests, knows very well the cosmic origin of the LDG "gem"!!!
b)It is quite sure that there are more LDG artefacts in Cairo (and in others) Museum, but we employed about
three years to have the official permission to examine the Tut's Pectoral, and we are a little sick about that...
