Jarosław Lewczuk hat sich in dem Artikel "Studies on the Iconography of Thoth in the Art of the Kingdom of Kush. Napatan and Meroitic Periods", in: Göttinger Miszellen, Heft 69, S. 45-61 (1983) mit diesem seltsamen Objekt befasst und schreibt (S. 47f): Zitat:
From the first half of the IInd century B.C. we have 5 examples of an uncommon adornment of Thoth's head: it is a pair of "pointed ears", probably a transformation of the two plumes. |
