Ich habe mal die im Ä-Blatt verlinkte Auflistung von aktuellen Grabungsmissionen durchgesehen, aber auch dort befindet sich kein Hinweis. Zumindest scheint keine ausländische Grabungsmission beteiligt gewesen zu sein oder die Struktur war Teil einer größeren Konzession. Aber danach liest es sich eigentlich nicht...

BIFAO - 7, Seiten 69-89 (betreffend ist die Seite 70)
Piliers et colosses de type oziriaque dans le contexte des temples des culte royal
Die Kartuschen vom RII. sind auch deutlich sichtbar.
Alle andere Ruinen sind schon ausserhalb vom Dorf Abydos, gehören schön zum Kom-Es-Sultan, die Ruinen über die euch spricht, gehören zum Ramses II

Hallo Clandestino,
Die Kapelle, auf die du verweist, befindet sich an der Südwand des Vorhofes des Ramses II.-Tempels – das ist ein integraler Tempelbestandteil und nicht der separate Tempel, der hier gesucht wird.

Dr. Mary-Ann Pouls Wegner (Direktorin North Abydos Votive Zone Project, Universität Toronto) war so freundlich sich die Zeit zu nehmen auf eine Anfrage zum Tempel zu antworten. Ich zitiere aus Ihrer Mail :

Sie teilt somit zwar meine oben geäußerte Ansicht bezüglich eines möglichen Ursprungs in der 18. Dynastie, kann aber letztendlich auch nicht weiter helfen.
Die Struktur wurde, zumindest den Fotos nach, wohl irgendwann von irgendjemandem freigelegt / untersucht. Wenn, dann scheint diese Grabung vermutlich von einem ägyptischen Team (mit Publikation in Arabisch ??) durchgeführt worden zu sein. Die diesbezügliche Mail - Anfrage an eine befreundete Ägyptologin (ägyptischer Nationalität) in Cairo ist raus.
Soweit dieser kurze "Preliminary-Report" ...
